About

Zinnath is Synapse's second favorite elder (of two), and the former schoolmate and lifelong friend of Aurora. He has become a bit of a recluse, as he finds the younger generation of dragons too arrogant and whimsical for his traditional blood. Aurora likes to remind him that traditions change. While settled in his living area with their respective crafts, they often reminisce about the ways they countered the culture of their parents' and grandparents' eras, which does elicit an amused huff from Zin.

Despite his disaffected demeanor, if a dragon comes calling at his den with a problem of biochemistry, mechanical or structural engineering, or general problem-solving, he cannot say no. Of course, they get an earful of scoldings and preventative tips to follow for next time. Most of the clan finds his bitterness endearing, others take pity on him, but few understand, save for those who are climbing in years. His health is better than Aurora's (mostly from genetics and his love for swimming keeping him physically fit), but the clan (namely Bloodtooth, Alys, and Misty) expects them both to live a long time.
