About

Miss Aurora, or Orry to Zinnath, is Synapse's favorite elder. As a sprightly student she was the one to scout the Focal Point and carve out the means for her own clan, starting with just the two of them: she and her bestest friend Zin. (The two had dozens of on-and-off flings, but after acquiring the wisdom that only comes in dragons' old age, settled happily on platonic soulmates)

She has a quick wit often revealed in the form of a dry, sarcastic humor. Once you realize it's a joke, she lets out an endearing smile, as if she physically cannot even pretend to have a bad attitude for very long.

Though Aurora is quick to recall stories about the Arcanist from her youth, she can never remember where she set down her knitting needles. In fact, (thanks to Callisto and Elara) her familiars are trained in retrieving her needles, claw picks, earrings, measuring cups, eye drops, eye serum, bone supplements, stationery, etc. whenever she has a lapse in memory. The solarvul is sturdy and patient enough to break the guardian's fall, so she always accompanies her when she goes out.
