Obsidius

Obsidius is the warrior-tyrant of the Bloodscale Tribe, notorious not only for its collection of outcasts and criminals, but for becoming fearsome gladiators among the children of the Arcanist. The "Mad King" himself is one of the world's mightiest and most ferocious gladiators, and rules his clan with iron claws.

His origin is a mystery, but it is noted that unlike most Guardian dragons Obisidus has no charge to speak of. The few that dare speak his name recall a young black dragon from ages ago that failed to protect his human companion that shares similarities to the current warlord, but there is little evidence to support the theory. Over the years of his reign Obsidius has struck few alliances, mainly with that of Plague Dragon tribes that offer their own to serve under him. He intends to cull the population of the current world and create a single massive clan under his reign, viewing the conflicts between the various flights as petty and wasteful. Obsidius' intense insistence on achieving this through bloodshed and treachery is rooted in his belief that no-one will learn anything through peace and kindness.

Obsidius is a cold, stern, and short-tempered monster that tolerates no form of foolishness, yet possesses a dark, bitterly sarcastic form of humor. Despite being aggressive to any and all who dare trample upon his land, he is not impossible to appease. He respects those who are brave, powerful and intelligent, even more so when they manage to be humble. Though Obsidius likes to keep from relying on others, he is willing to forge alliances with outside clans if they have something of value to offer. But such allegiances with him are fraught with hidden dangers, for not only does the Obsidian Warlord put his own gains above all else, but a few of his followers have their own agenda. He is aware of this though, and keeps them in check with malicious cunning.

A brutal fighter without mercy, Obsidius focuses on immediately pressuring his foes with powerful physical blows. He can rally himself and others focusing on close-quarters combat to further increase damage output. Possessing enchanted Bloodscale armor and having his natural ability enhanced with several Berserker Stones, Obsidius combines herculean strength with nigh-impervious defenses, made even more frightening when working in tandem with allies with their own buffing/nerfing spells.
