Clan matriarch and founder, Terwe likes to take things slowly, but thoroughly. She is extremely stubborn and strong-willed, and once she decides upon something, she will follow it through by all means.

Her charge means keeping the clan open to anyone who needs a place to live, regularly patrolling the Sea of a Thousand Currents to look for dragons in danger of drowning. It is a vague charge, and one hard to fulfill, and she often returns from her patrols with a far-away look in her eyes, too late, only able to give the clan's priests and undertakers coordinates to yet another wreck.

The guardian appears to be rather stoic, but she can be surprisingly warm towards others, mostly towards the ones she guards.

She loves to fly, even though it takes her a lot of strength to heave all that mass into the air.

In recent times, with the disappearance of the Tidelord, Terwe has become even more reclusive. She is rather removed from the actual governing of the clan, leaving most of it to Velveyn. Still, her word is law.

Most of the younger dragons, those who do not owe her their life, are slightly wary of her, their respect rather mixed up with fear. It is whispered that she can beckon Mantarunes to her side, drive a dragon mad with the power of her visions, that she is one of the Beasts Below. Some like to joke that she ate the Tidelord for breakfast.

Those whispers are untrue. While she is a powerful seer, she is the one most haunted by her own prophecies. Averting so many watery graves is exhausting, and she often finds herself in no mood for company.

The dragons residing in the Deeplair know this, and those who meet her in her more light-hearted moods value her as a level-headed leader and a true friend.
