╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Zephyr was never one to stay still, he must always be thinking, equating, solving. Though most of his thoughts never make it out of his mouth, Zeph doesn't always express his feelings, more stuffs them inside his head and tries to forget about them. He is also not one to be outgoing and affable, taking teases and jokes as sometimes a personal offense. Zeph means well, but who he is was always defined by what was on his mind all day every day, traveling and trying to find his father, the one thing in life he is so persistently pursuing, and always will be. Maybe when he finds Nimbus will his true personality come to light. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Born to Cascadia and Nimbus on the Eve of the New Year, Zephyr was the eldest of four in a batch. His status as firstborn didn't help him when it came to physical dominance, all his siblings were hardy pearl catchers, who apparently found Zeph's form to be quite absurd and laughable. Even in the early days Zeph seemed to be born to be a recluse to his own family it seemed. Cascadia knew her hatchlings were born to serve the Gladekeeper, it was a great honor to have relatives or offspring in the war. Though there was an incomparable look in Zeph's young eye, showing deep thought and mind. Cascadia then realized that her eldest hatchling did not belong in the war effort, he wanted something more in life. Idavale agreed to this, Vyridia did not, but Ida overruled her and declared that Zephyr may stay as long as he pleased, much to her clan's dismay. On the day he would be an adult, Zephyr watched as his own father flew off into the setting sky, silent tears on Cascadia's face and loud, sobbing tears on Skyla's. He had left to find something better or different in life, unsatisfied with where he was. Zephyr loved his father, saw him as an inspiration, and when he left Zephyr took it to himself to find him again. |

Zephyr mostly battles beasts and intruders, spying and taking reconnaissance missions to aid his clan in conflicts. To make a living, Zephyr is a mercenary that travels throughout Sornieth as either a bounty hunter or investigator. Fleeing burglars and murderers see the Gladeveins as a refuge that no one will find them in, unknowing that the natives will catch them easily, the land of the Gladeveins isn't easy to make a living in, so the survivors know how to take advantage of others. |
