Matchmaker Efficient - Sociable - Oblivious Works with her twin brother, Ares to provide matchmaking services. Sera is the older twin and the one more inclined to talk to everyone she meets. She's the face of the business, bringing dragons together and cutting deals with parents. While her brother is organized and without his filing system she'd probably lose track of everyone she was matching, Sera is a whirlwind of clippings, notes and requests, looking to find the best match for every pair.  Sera "Stay focused and extra sparkly ~" However, staying behind the counter and bartering with other dragons wasn't exactly Sera's cup of tea. It was good pay, sure, but after ripping off her five hundredth customer, she started to think about getting another job -- one that was a bit more exciting. It was then that she came upon a conversation between two customers that spoke of the hardships of finding the perfect match. Though originally Sera only pitched in so the two would buy some of her merchandise, she found that she was good at helping dragons find their other half. She was surprised at her own skill, and even more surprised at the blindness of the dragons she was helping get together. It was then that she decided to further develop her matchmaking skills, and she did this by setting up a matchmaking service. Of course, she couldn't have done that alone. Before going on with setting up her own business, Sera consulted her twin brother, Ares, who was likewise getting rather bored with his job. After a conversation involving a lot of persuading (long story), exploding cupcakes (longer story), pay checks (even longer story) and several hundred mysterious crates (don't even ask), Ares ended up joining forces with Sera. With his help with organizing things and keeping track of the multitude of files needed, the two worked together and finally completed their little shop.

Despite having long left behind the ways of marketing, Sera can often be found trying to sell flowers or chocolates to her clanmates for prices that don't seem too off the charts -- until they get home and wonder why in the world they bought those things. This has made her one of the richest dragons in the lair. Or at least it would, if not for the fact that a large portion of her massive hoard somehow mysteriously finds its way into the clan's vault on a monthly basis. Her clanmates have wisely stopped asking where the money came from, for fear Sera refuses to continue supporting the clan's finances. A matchmaker needs to be sociable, and Sera has plenty of friendliness to show and give. However, those who get lost in her hospitality may want to remember that there's more to this dragon than meets the eye. Sera might be friendly during times she needs to be, but that doesn't mean she can't be solemn when she wants to, especially when dealing with more serious business. More agitated customers may also want to remember that this delicate-looking Wildclaw is quite a force to reckon with, and not just because her last sparring buddy is now a doormat. |

Recently, one of her customers, Zora, joined the Burrow. Sera feels a sense of strange pity for the poor Imperial, who simply does not seem to be able to find anyone he likes or anyone who likes him. She has spent way more time trying to find perfect partners for him than ripping off her clanmates -- a fact that has greatly relieved the other clan members. She's also spent more time with Zora than any other dragon -- except perhaps Ares. For some reason, Ares seems to find this annoying (Ares would prefer the term amusing, though there's no need to tell her that) so to further annoy him more, Sera has decided to spend even more time with Zora. Strangely, though, Sera has started feeling a queer twinge of emotion whenever she passes by the Imperial. She has tried to remain business-like and composed around him, but for some reason, there are times when she finds herself desperately hoping that Zora wouldn't find a match in one of the files she's given him....what do you mean, is she into Zora? She's nothing but friends with him, no more. No, definitely no more. Nope. No. Nada. She has no idea what you're talking about. |
