Alathea

Alathea is the proud lair mother of her clan, and as such (both as the lair mother and a Guardian), she's fiercely protective of every dragon that comes under her wing. While proud of being in the Wind Flight, and extremely loyal to the Windsinger, Alathea also has great respect for all flights, and being a sort of historian herself, finds great interest in learning about the individual histories of all dragons that she may happen to meet.

Despite her stalwart nature as far as her clan, Alathea is an adventurer at heart. She enjoys collecting items and diligently cataloging them. One of her favorite pastimes is taking the newest hatchlings out to explore. Her theory is that education starts upon hatching, and that no dragon is well off in the world if they don't pursue knowledge in some form. While others in the lair may not agree with her, they do respect her choices, even if they find her a bit eccentric.

Previously, Arryn was Alathea's mate, but she has since sworn off mating for the time being, as all of her offspring have since been exalted. Instead, she enjoys caring for the hatchlings of others in the lair.
