Working alongside the traditional matriarch and patriarch of the fledgling clan, Andromeda was the dragon who realized the need for defense – and took it upon herself to learn to fight to keep the clan safe. Perhaps, one might even suggest – though such a suggestion must be made delicately in order to avoid offence – Andromeda keeps the lair too safe. Her passionate hatred of yetis and her instant move to swipe off their heads if they come too close to her charges has prevented one of the clan goals – to befriend one of the great beasts. Despite her idiosyncrasies, however, Andromeda is a pillar of strength to the lair and it is impossible for many in the clan to imagine life without her. She was here at the beginning. She will be here, it is believed, at the end. |
