Throughout her life span as she grows so will her magic and the choices she will face, will be ever changing. Only once fully matured, will she be able to fully control the magic she wields, usually after the first nest has been laid. Stolen from her nest and sold on the Black Market to the highest bidder, she will in all likelihood become a slave to her new master. Though it is most common place for a genie to become a slave, there are those who buy the hatchlings to give them their freedom. Only to find that the hatchlings wish to stay and help their new clan grow and prosper. If she should become a Djinn and wishes are made by those in her clan, the wishes made will turn upon the receiver while the granter of said wishes will remain unharmed. The power of the Djinn's magic will always turn on the master and those around them, twisting the wishes into something most vile often proving fatal to the receiver. However should she walk the same path as her mother before her did, becoming a Genie her power to grant the wishes will be kind to the receiver and give them exactly what they asked for. ________________________________________ |

Back in the warmth of the clan's lair Ari went in search of Farlis the clans king. Having found him seated in one of the gardens he handed the pendant over, making his apologies and leaving the king alone in peace with his new shiny object. Farlis rubbed at the pendant a little after noticing a smudge on its glowing surface, the pedant's glow, grew brighter until farlis could no longer see anything. He shut his eyes against the blinding light and when the light had finally dimmed enough for Farlis to see again he opened them. He blinked and then blinked again, not quite sure if what he was seeing was real or a trick of the shadows and light. But perched at his feet was a small spiral female, much smaller than those he had seen in other clans who's messenger spirals had passed through on their way to delivering their parcels and messages. The spiral before him had strange runes upon her scales that glowed brightly and flickered too. He looked around but found no parent dragon and believed the hatchling to be all alone in the world. Farlis lifted the hatchling up and took her inside the lair with him, deciding almost immediately to name her Nalani. The pendant was soon forgotten about and was tossed into the clans vault along with all of the other items owned by the clan. Nalani refused to stop calling Farlis master despite his protests and know one in the clan can work out why. Doting on Nalani as he does, Farlis not only chose her name but decided he would be her foster father as know one else seemed to want to do it or rather he refused anyone who offered to. ________________________________________ |

Occupation: Prince of the Molten Embers Clan Owned by: GracelingWolf, 239291. Time with the master: Originally bred in the clan, Nalani's egg was stolen possibly by an insider who acted alone or with a partner. They passed it to a trader of rare things for a lot of treasure and gems, who then sold the egg on the Black Market later on.
Master: Farlis.
Occupation: King of the Windsinger Sirens. Owned by: aEtherillusion, 173515. Time with the master: Bound to a pendant after hatching, then purchased by Ari on the Black Market, who knew nothing about the Genie bound within it. It was later gifted to Farlis who discovered the hatchling but still remains unaware of her being bound to it or of what she really is. |
