The Twisting Crescendo - the powerful storm that has raged since ancient times. This clash of energy is so powerful that occasionally, a smaller storm is thrown out into the surrounding landscape. These storms usually end up in other parts of the Windswept Plateau or the Sea of a Thousands Currents and soak up nearby elemental magic. If a storm soaks up enough magic, it takes on a corporal form and becomes a living being.

Tossed eastward from the mighty Crescendo, the lightning magic of the Shifting Expanse is easily absorbed into the forming Cyclones. The Thunderstorms are very loud and often are quite impatient. Electricity will pour from their wings when upset or agitated.
