Blue diamonds represent peace, spirituality, and good health. Blue Diamond is currently in a state of great depression, still in mourning. She is unable to let go of the past, becoming fixated on preserving the legacy.

Born into the burden of the family heirloom, Maranya grew up watching as her family one by one passed away. The Blue Diamond had been known notoriously for supposedly being cursed, depicted to bring forth misfortune to whoever attempts to wear it. But due to its worth, remained in possession of Maranya's family.

Once the necklace was in Maranya's possession, her life changed dramatically, losing close friends, pets and even plantlife; she attempted to care for. After years of losing friends and companions, Maranya grew fearful of losing anyone else and stopped making contact with others and moved into mortuary work. She was confident that the dead were immune to her bad luck and so spends her days around them in her morgue.

She lives in constant depression and loneliness awaiting her fate.
