xxx Off the shore of Sornieth, storms raged. Heavy storm clouds thundered over the seas. The warrings between the gods of the dragons caused the terrible storms. Some early dragons sought refuge away from the main island, but to no avail. The eggs laid by the water elemental dragons were destroyed and shattered by the thunder and lightning. All eggs, except the one blessed by the Tidelord. When the egg hatched, a brilliantly blue and black mirror emerged and her eyes were the color of storms and lightning. Wevlen, the mortal goddess of the tempest broke forth, ready to become something more than other mortals.

 		Wevlen always knew she was special. Water, wind, and storms did as she told; even the gods paid special attention to her. It was wonderful. Wevlen grew up with everyone telling her she was special, beautiful, and perfect. It did lend to a bit of pride, but nothing unmanageable. Unfortunately, Wevlen found herself without any friends. It wasn’t because she was unlikable, she simply couldn’t figure out how to interact with weak mortals. She needed to be in the company of dragons like her. She was attracted to power and demanded to be around it.

Wevlen sought out other mortal gods, demi-gods, as some called them. It was exactly what she needed. Being around powerful dragons, seeing their abilities, it helped Wevlen to find a drive. She developed a drive to be amazing. It was all important. The mortal goddess of the tempest would be the strongest around.
