A fierce fighter in the coliseum, Locke has never forgotten what she used to be, or that she was born one of the special dragons conjured fully grown out of the ice. She accepted her mate, Olympus, only when assured that he, if not a progenitor like herself, was at least hatched from one of the lone eggs often believed to have been sent from the gods. She has placed herself in command of training the young ones to send on to the god. The closer she can get them to their deity, the closer she feels herself – and so her trainees grow strong and powerful and her clan grows wealthy. |
