Progenitor of the Sunweave Tangle Clan, first in the council and the leader of the raiding party.

Avitus was never particularly interested in running his own clan. Nothing has changed since various scholars of all flights flocked into his newly made domain. The clan is made up of anyone who is interested in studying, whether their methods match Light's philosophy or not. Avitus rarely even looks in on those who have chosen to live in the area he's claimed as his territory. He's far too busy battling, studying ancient scrolls or guarding his charge.

The only dragons allowed anywhere near it are the four guardians of the Ruin, Iovita and Acantha, his mate. The imperial found him and offered to grow the maze around his charge, which he gratefully accepted. In gratitude, she is allowed to be a part of his best kept secret. Both of them are more interested in their own pursuits than running the clan, though they still occasionally make useless decrees.

As a part of the raiding team, Avitus supplies most of the food and wealth of the clan. Though he is a scholar first and foremost and tends to be rather retiring in his manner, he has a passion for battling. His motives are purely selfish and his obsession with knowledge has lead him to accept far sketchier methods than many Light clans would allow.

The rings on his tail are his favorite treasure.
