Nephthys
a tale of

The stars grew tired of the silence of her/their home, and from their yearning to speak with another, Nephthys was formed. A living constellation. A dragon of purest midnight, the color of dark night sky and vast expanse of space, with wings decorated with hundreds of shimmering stars.

But she was hesitant to leave her home, it was all she had ever had and known. So she decided to take as much of it with her.

She took a few of the stars surrounding her and fashioned a crown (Fillet) to wear upon her head. From the rings of a near by planet, she created sliver rings to adorn her tail and wings. And from the rays of the brightest star, the sun, she made a halo.

She would have preferred taking a shooting star as a companion but the comet will suffice.

Now content that she had enough she descended down to our world and never looked back.
