Being one of the first dragons to wander into the clan after the progenitors, Jysana has had more than one mating partner. Her first was Skynlafend. At the time, she only mated with him because he was the only male imp in the clan- being from a high class den herself, she felt it was only necessary to mate with only her own. Jysana and Skynlafend's first daughter, Isis, was pure obsidian, an achievement that brought the clan great joy. Her other two daughters, Persephone and Penelope felt like they were the shadow of their dark and beautiful sister, but they found a place in lairs of their own, and in that simple achievement, Jysana was proud of them even if they weren't the most glamorous to the eyes. Even when they were exalted, Jysana was comforted that they were loved. Jysana loves to fly with the stars. She is usually the one that goes up to the sky and whispers to the stars about their desires, about their problems. She is very modest and has a outspoken voice, but she can assume dominance if things get out of hand. She's full of hope and mystery.

For the longest time, she remained with her more-permanent mate, Eridus. They had many, many beautiful clutches together, but soon Eridus was off again on his next adventure after almost five years together. Soon, an imp named Cygnus came along to take the place of Eridus.
