Gingersnap hands out just as much coffee as he does advice and sarcasm, but he means it all in good fun. This jovial dragon it down to earth and more than willing to help.

____The scent of cinnamon and coffee that flowed from Gingersnap’s small cafe was almost as strong as his speech. For how sweet, caring and supportive he is to anyone with any sort of trouble--be it a breakup, a case of rainy day melancholy, or a particularly annoying neighbour--one would never expect him to be capable of that much swearing. While he will never spring it on someone who came to him for council or just a sweet cup of coffee, his own problems get faced with an unparalleled flood of profane commentary. After all, they say swearing really loudly helps with stress and pain. Right? But Gingersnap’s flavorful and sassy personality reflect the many baked goods, exotic teas, and other delicacies that fill his shop.
____His pantry, which is always overflowing with spices and jars of strange insects and leaves, has become the go to spot for food within the clan. Gathering during the warmer months provides their winter rations, milled grains and rices and pickled produce from Erza’s gardens provide beautiful dishes, and the slue of strange foods and spices Aashna brings back from his trades and travels add new dimensions of taste.
____When he isn’t running the counter with his Harpy familiar, Tapioca, or occupied in a conversation, Gingersnap takes the dimensions of color and smell from his recipes and applies them to various… non-edible items around the village. Anything from a fresh pine cone to a piece of firewood might suddenly take on the scent of apple pies, cinnamon, or even dried jerky. His favorite, however, is his candle making. Using the leftover wax from Revion’s hives, Gingersnap has created a line of colorful scented candles that smell almost good enough to eat.
