프로스티아는 냉기의 정령이다. 겨울이 되면 그녀는 온 레어에 눈을 내리고 개울을 얼어붙게 하느라 바쁘지만, 그 외에는 딱히 할 일이 없이 한가하게 지낸다. 겉보기엔 도도하고 까탈스러운 듯 행동하지만, 사실은 다정하고 장난치기 좋아하는 성격이다. 온갖 것에 서리를 내리게 하는 것을 좋아하는데, 도서관의 책을 통째로 얼렸다가 블랙하트에게 크게 혼난 후 아직까지 도서관 출입 금지 인물이 되어있다.

이 레어 안에서 정령으로 만들어진 후 레어 밖을 떠나본 적이 없다. 레어 밖의 세계에 대해서도 관심이 많으며 새로 레어에 온 용들을 귀찮게 굴기도 한다. 이때까지 가장 귀찮게 군 것은 파울리아로, 호기심이 많아 파울리아의 과학책을 뺏어보다가 이해가 안 된다며 설명해줄 때까지 투정부리는 일이 일쑤이기 때문이다.

자신을 닮은 퍼밀리어를 매우 아끼는데, 대때로 남들에게 자랑하듯 행동하기 때문에 펄캐쳐같은 드래곤이라고 놀림받는다.
