Biography
Mummu is a discontinued model of constuct from the Stormcatcher's factories that was to be scrapped. Before they were deconstructed for parts, their handler thought better to repurpose them. While outdated, Mummu was still in perfect working order and had many years of productivity left in them. The college bought them and they were set to work maintaining the school's generators.
The generators that power the college sit far underground and span across half the grounds. Their incredible power output is what allowed Mamitu to bend space as she did, and create the rift. The maintenance of the generators is now more important than ever, as they were never intended to create that much power continuously. The rift was not meant to stay open, and the energy required to keep the gateway in some semblance of stability is astronomical.
