B I O G R A P H Y

When one sees Roden waltzing down the cobblestones, he looks much like the first chapter of a long novel: extravagant, a little under-planned, and large enough in character to lose yourself in. He isn't an extravagant dragon himself, nor is his intention to be gregarious or intimidating. He simply radiates the way of the sun, and by that, he seems endless.

Roden was born to a nearly ruined clan many years ago. He grew up with little to eat and even less to do. Survival was only guaranteed through storytelling. So, he vowed to make his life worth writing about. Words came alive through the light he gave his young clan. Romance and harmony were Roden's true callings, and he still lives every day as though he is at peace, and as though he may never see tomorrow. One can often find him still buried in a book, finding ideas for how he might spread love to others. Romance novels are his favorite; who doesn't dearly love a story of acceptance?

Roden has only one flaw; he is often afraid. Never the most courageous of dragons, his childhood taught him that he could only survive by learning to stand still. He lives his life extravagantly to make up for the years he felt were wasted early on. Scary stories are not true storytelling, in his book; words are meant to give hope. Words are how the light gets in. Many dragons believe he is hard to understand or spends too much time on the page. But if you want to understand Roden, all you have to do is read the writing on the wall.
