A nimble and curious Imperial, often the ideal example of grace, Ryou has been spared joining his former mentor in sharing the fate of becoming the mysterious Bogsneak. Not that that's stopped him from brewing and experimenting that would make the ten deities anxious... and make the Arcanist unnaturally interested. His large size has done nothing to keep him from being incredibly agile in his rather small lab or out in the wilds looking for ingredients not found in most markets. On top of being a former Plague dragon from the fetid Scarred Wastelands, his need to preserve things is oddly stronger than his mirth at blowing things to pieces with his crafted concoctions. Granted it doesn't melt or change colors first. Yes, we're worried too.

In spite of all the chaos, Ryou has yet to forget his loyalty to his clansmen, even if he is prone to short-term memory loss. He would certainly be lost without his manticore companion Bastian and his mate Iris, the lady bog oddly understanding of her partner's need to experiment and uncover things through his own means. Going to him for the more toxic or prototype battle potions of all kinds is often a good idea... when the bottles don't shatter and cause problems before even reaching the field or explode before even being thrown at anything.

Should you be looking for someone more proficient at standard potions, only slightly altered to enhance their effects and not endanger the user, go to Soile a few caves over. We're staying here to figure out how this baffling bog can do all he does and somehow not lose that lovely scarf and matching fez. Standard brewing procedure calls for goggles, so everybody's skeptical those glasses are protection enough. Oh well... it's his eyes.
