.. ▍ HISTORY
✦_ Oaklen comes from a proud family heritage; namely, on his father's side. Like many other socialites, there is no real reason as to why the Stogwen family is so well known and respected among other dragons, they simply are. The name Stogwen and the "Stogwen progeny" are household phrases and so this family thrives off of their popularity alone.
✦_ When Oaklen was only ten hours old, he was already engaged to a newborn Coatl named Theodosia from a neighboring ally clan. This quickly caused gossip to spread. Who had arranged the marriage and why? Was Theodosia's family indebted and had to sell their newborns to make end's meat? Did Oaklen's family want to control who he mated with and, thus, who was allowed into the family? Although the latter was most likely the case, no one gave answers to the questions being asked.
✦_ Izzy caught wind of the gossip and sent word to the two clans, claiming that she could provide the hatchlings with refuge from the media, at least until the drama blew over. She didn't press the matter and simply allowed the offer to remain on the table. Theodosia's parents claimed that the publicity would do negative things to the young dragonlings' psyches and they suggested both parties take Izzy up on her offer.
✦_ Although Oaklen's family thrived off of the media coverage, they cared for him and they didn't want to ruin things with Theodosia and her clan. In order to maintain connections and ensure the safety of the hatchlings, Oaklen and Theodosia were sent to Izzy's clan to grow up outside of public spotlight.
✦_ For years, the betrothed couple nested together, but it was clear to Oaklen that whatever passion they once felt for one another—if there had been any to start with—had faded. Theodosia yearned for adventure, and Oaklen chose not to follow. The two parted ways amicably.

▍ LOCATION
SITE ONE _ – _ The largest of the clan's settlements. It is a decent sized emcampment located in a massive crater on the fringe between the Carrion Canyon and The Lighting Farm. Although it is heavily monitored and guarded, the locals seem exceedingly warm and welcoming. A variety of different sized yurts and tents make up this settlement. In the very center of the crater is a large yurt which is roughly twice the size of the surrounding buildings. It is colored with paintings and decorated with beads. This is where clan leaders Mojil and Izzy mate, sleep, and conduct business.
