siegfried has shown little interest in fighting, raising young, or adopting any sort of craft that would make her useful in the eyes of other plague dragons. rather, she takes a note from the flight her species originated from and spends most of her time traveling, guided only by a sense of adventure and her love for writing and storytelling. she often tags along with nomadic clans, paying for food and the protection of being in a group with items she scavenges and stories she recites, both those she's heard on her journeys before and those she creates on her own.
despite her excellent memory in terms of verses and interesting events, siegfried is rather scatterbrained and has a terrible sense of direction, and has long given up on trying to chart out her courses, knowing full well she'll just end up wherever the winds take her. unconcerned with practicality, she rarely packs things like maps or tools, instead filling the pockets of her coat with manuscripts, blank parchment, and quills. a side project of hers has been writing an encyclopedia of all the things she sees, natural or artificial. by now, when unrolled, the paper is almost twice the length of the spiral herself.
the only place she stays for more than a month at a time is with the plague clan she grew up in. while when she'll appear is never certain, the spiral doesn't fail to check up on her adoptive parents from time to time, entertaining a new generation of hatchlings with her stories before wheeling off again.
