Nyid is the new spring
Bringing the promise of life
Yet wryly concealing

The first to descent was Nyid; the spring-caller and spreader of life. Where he treads and what he touches animates; stone walls writhe to life and protruding tentacles wriggle forth from its surface, wood floors sprout leaves of a dark green color that curl hungrily towards the nearest meal.

Of the four Blightslithers, Nyid fixates upon life itself, watching eagerly as it comes into existence and taking delight as it grows and spreads. He also takes delight in the triumph of one life over another and will those he comes upon in battle to survive, no matter the cost.

Nyid is the mate of Volmin and they are the Life and Death of the Four. Their union has spawned a multitude of their kind that will spread across Sornieth.

Nyid's power has given rise to a delicate-looking creature by the name of Uto that happily follows in its masters wake, uttering bizarre ululations of praise and thanks.
