 aito often appears shy and will flee from newcomers, but those who take the time to get to know her understand that she's simply out of her element. Loving the snow, Kaito is intimidated by the constant ashfall of the Flamecaller's domain, and seeks out any bit of coolness she can. She longs for the snow of her home and enjoys playing with the hatchlings. Her funloving attitude often earns her their trust, and her childlike heart never seems to grow old. |

The snowy pearlcatcher is said to have her life energy frozen inside her crystal so that she never ages. It is unclear whether she did this intentionally or by accident, as some suspect the shock of extreme differences in environment caused her body to try preserving anything it could of her. |

As the self-proclaimed Ice King, he had the audacity to steal Duma's winter cloak she'd conjured up during the Crystalline Gala of 2016. Duma didn't retaliate, thankfully, and instead conjured herself a new one. During the Crystalline Gala of 2016, Kaito was one of the dragons affected by Duma's sporadic winter experiments. Her wings, back, and tail frosted over, and the delighted Kaito leaped around with excited fervor. Her pearl glows with the warm heat of her life energy, temporarily defrosting the part of her body touching the crystal. This doesn't faze Kaito in the least, because the melting produces a neat effect along with icicles, which are super fun to lick. Duma is fond of Kaito for her enthusiasm at the event, along with her fun-loving and childlike attitude. ~*~ |

The loud, boisterous male caught her attention when, with a flair, he stole the cloak of Duma, the oracle. As a dragon who hailed from the Ice flows like herself, Kaito shyly followed and watched him, for a while. He declared himself the "Ice King" and stood out in personality as much as his colors did. Kaito grew to like the obnoxiously confident male, and crafted him purple-blue feathers to coat the underside of his vibrantly pink leathery wings. He took a liking to them, and decided to make Kaito his "Ice Queen". Together they formed quite the adorable couple. |
