Biography

Callisto is somewhat of an enigma to the clan, to the point where several dragons aren't quite sure if she is really part of the clan, or just a stranger who's made the Sisters triad part of their traveling route. She only appears to land for one night a year, to lay a single clutch.

During the long winter, she soars far above the land. Dragons willing to brave the polar night can sometimes see her, her gigantic wings almost becoming one with the night sky. When the Aurora flickers across the sky, she can be easily spotted - once the season for the Aurora has passed, she is gone without a trace until the next year.

Callisto rarely makes conversation with anyone in the clan, no matter how hard they try. Truth be told, almost nobody in the clan knows anything about her, and perhaps that is exactly how she intended it. Many wondered if she was lonely up there, so a new tradition began within the clan - the carving of gigantic runes and messages in the flatter plains, so that she can see them from the sky and know she's in the clan's thoughts, and an immense pyre when she's due to return so she doesn't get lost. Whether or not she appreciates or even notices the gesture is up for debate, but she hasn't asked them to stop yet.
