Celesthia is protected by many strong dragons. However, what makes Celesthia feared by most is the existence of Garnet, a dragon that received the blessing of the war spirit, Hykes. In addition, she is rumored to be the daughter of two dragon gods, Icewarden and Flamecaller, due to her ability to control two elements, ice and flame. Her element affinities also influences her personality, making her sometimes fierce like fire, but other times emotionless like ice. Her double personality make dragons having a hard time to communicate with her.

Although she is the main warrior of Celesthia, her den is actually a few hundred miles away from the clan territory. Rumors has it that she cut off ties with Celesthia due to a major conflict between her and Angilian. However, she was just sick of the pesky clan rules and wanted to live freely. As such, neighboring clan, who expect Celesthia to be weak, decided to take advantage and initiate attack against the clan. Though, the attacks dealt minimal damage against the legendary strategist, Angilian.

Before she left the clan to live her solitary life, Skyrim made an oath with Garnet. The oath extracted some of Garnets power was implanted into the spell circle that protected the clan. In case of emergency, Skyrim can activate the spell circle and summon Garnet's semblance. Furthermore, the spell circle will notify Garnet that the clan is in danger. However, Skyrim sometimes abuse the spell circle to summon Garnet and ask her to perform mundane tasks, such as searching for rare herbs.
