Hunllef is Welsh for ''nightmare.''
Hunllef is a simple, realistic Earth Tundra who isn't quite sure how she got caught up in this flighty Wind clan. She met Lumil and Heulwen during their travels in Dragonhome, as she was looking to leave her clan and set out on her own. There was no particular reason for her leaving, she simply felt like she needed to find her own way in the world. She offered to guide the travelers around the safer parts of the Cairnstone Rest, where the lair of her previous clan was, for a bit of treasure to get her on her way, but she didn't count on the adventurous couple to get distracted and try to go off on their own. Hunllef managed to save them from their run-in with a skeletal wyrm, and then never quite ended up leaving the two. She is the more practical (and tactical) of the three Tundra leaders of the clan, now helping to plan out food distribution and the schedules of the clan's travels, although it's still hard for her to keep these overenthusiastic Wind explorers on track and unscheduled side-trips will always happen.
