Cepheid

The last born child to Penumbra and Viridis' first litter, Cepheid was a sickly hatchling. It was all the clan could do but pray to the Lightweaver to spare her life and grant Cepheid health and strength. On what seemed to be the brink of death for the newborn, the deity finally answered, but in a way none could have predicted. Cepheid was chosen by the Lightweaver to become a Light spirit guide, aiding those Light dragons who had lost their way in the darkness of doubt and sorrow.

Cepheid now serves as the ethereal embodiment of Clan Ambrosium and is the vessel of past generations, a spiritual medium of sorts. But like many spirits, her willingness to divulge wisdom and insight is fickle at best; she can only be truly relied upon to protect the clan from evil spirits and other enemies in times of dire need. When Cepheid herself is present and not acting as a medium, however, she behaves like any other young and playful child. She is the greatest pride of Lumens, the clan's patriarch, as he considers her a great blessing upon his clan. Only clans of the purest elemental lines who are the most faithful to their deities are granted such a spirit guide.
