 LEXEN Guardian of the Clan Lexen one day arrived at the entrance of Clan Shadylex and asked for a place to stay. Though her eyes stay she is from Earth lands, she claims she is from lands far beyond these. Many dragons were suspicious of this strange dragon that was dark and mysterious. Zeffie, however, took one sniff of Lexen and immediately accepted her into the clan. It didn’t take long for Lexen to make herself useful and took on the title “Guardian of the Clan.” She spends her days guarding the entrance of the lair, a towering dragon that stands like a statue over all. Not many dragons know about her, even with how long she has stayed with the clan. Her scars show she has fought many battles and they are very old scars by the looks of it. Lexen rarely ever takes off her hood and only the shadow of her eyes can be seen in them. These eyes are also strange in the rare chance one does see them. They are hollow, empty really. They do not show any sort of emotion within them regardless of how ‘emotional’ Lexen may act. In addition to this is her uncanny habit of talking of secret things, things that are only known with in the mind. Many dragons have whispered that she might be a mind reader, a rare breed of magic users. These rumors have caused mistrust in a few dragons of the clan but Zeffie insists that Lexen can be trusted and that, “We should have faith in her.” A few months later, she met Berserk. The moment they met there was a fight, a battle of such a level no one expected from Lexen. It was vicious and dangerous and many dragons thought that the Warriors should intervene when Lexen finally pinned Berserk down beneath her claws, bloody and wounded. “This is my Charge,” she proclaimed. “And no one touches her besides me. I will be responsible for her. Do not try to stop her by yourself.” And so the two stayed. Lexen took a little den far, far away from the lair to watch over Berserk to ensure that no one innocent gets caught between their fights. It is her alone that can calm Berserk whenever she becomes violent and dangerous. Curious then that the two of them work together to guard the entrance of the lair from outsiders. Trust is still shaky between herself and the rest of the clan, but no one can deny she doesn’t do her job. And continue she will until something takes her and Berserk away to another far away land. |
