Erimia

Erimia often goes to the various deserts around Sornieth, both as a challenge, and also for finding valuable materials and other trinkets. Because of this, she gained great patience, and endurance to the desert heat and cactuses, as well as a liking to cactus juice. She considers all the oasis songbirds her best friends.

Erimia used to live in a static home with Ahpoidla, Nealon, Karmine, and Lisil, but eventually got her own airship for easier travel to the deserts. It's designed to prevent as much heat as possible from making it in, and struggles to fly a little due to the large water tank situated on it.

Serpenta

Serpi is an excellent, fast companion that greatly helps in the desert. She hides in sand, with mostly only the head peeking out, and then attacks the prey very quickly.

Shattered Serpent

So many Shattered Serpents live in the Abiding Boneyard that the sand itself looks as though it's rippling like an ocean.

The bonepriest's crown grows an additional prong with each successful molt.

It's unclear why Cai bonded to Erimia, as butter caimans live in damp, dark places, but stuff just happens sometimes.

Highreach Bonepicker

While primarily scavengers, Bonepickers will band together to finish off prey that's still got a little kick left!

Beardy is surprisingly picky with what highly specific bones to eat, but doesn't mind other bones if there isn't anything else.

It is not uncommon to see a Dustfeather Sphinx standing completely still. Don't mistake this for stoicism; it can use this unique stance to store energy to aid it in quick and relentless pursuit of prey.
