The moment Nhari hatched, they were whisked off to train with the wards who possessed the same potential. They performed satisfactorily in most areas, like casting wards, banishment spells, and illusions, but when it came to bone magic, they shone.
Give them anything--a piece of skull, a single knucklebone--and they can tell you its age, its origin and its strongest memories. They'll even reconstruct and reanimate it for good measure, just to see the surprise on your face.
There is one thing that their talent hasn’t gotten them. They have access to the archives, the graveyards, and the mortuary; their abilities have gained renown and admiration. It's not enough.
Nhari has only ever wanted a single thing: not love, not trust, not all the knowledge on this damned earth.
