6967.png Mahzun had always known what he wanted to do, ever since he first popped out of the egg- he wanted to design the magical bracelets his mother used to store excess magic to increase her reserves. He was entranced by their delicate designs and colors, and told himself that someday, his mother would be wearing a design of his very own. And so. he worked very hard to get there.
Mahzun became an apprentice as soon as he was old enough, using a recommendation from his grandmother. Kamehla feared his mother would be too easy on his son, considering the circumstances. After finishing his apprenticeship, Mahzun was incredibly proud to present his mother with the first piece of his new life. Insisting on making a secret, he slaved day and night to finish his present, what had caused him to start his passion in the first place. 6949.png
6958.png However, working day and night without rest took it's toll on the young fae. After three days he started hallucinating from lack of sleep, but he pushed on, continued to sculpt his masterpiece. After five, he finally passed out from exhaustion. Unfortunately, he passed out next to the furnace. When he came to, his claws were irreparably scarred from the heat, and his frills had shriveled painfully. He now finds it difficult to display emotion, and can no longer work his magic on jewelry. His first piece became his only piece.
