Neurachem the Recreator is a neuroscientist and geneticist, formerly employed at the N.M.E., now serving the Vilomaxus Cruentu as an alliance mediator, Straggon therapist, and neurachem production overseer. They played a major role in freeing the Straggons and getting rid of the clan's dependency on the late Makron's cruel inventions.

Having confronted Cheogh the Hideous, leader at the time, about the questionable ethics of imprisoning dragons in their own bodies with the Makron's neurocyte technology, Neurachem (going by a different name at that time) was prompted to come up with an alternate solution. They discussed the matter with the clan's historian and decided, with the clan's full support, to recreate the long-extinct mind-twisting plague strain that formed the Vilomaxus Cruentu in the first place. In collaboration with the N.M.E.'s finest geneticists, they successfully reverse-engineered the strain's effects, containing them to a radgoop-based substance dubbed the "Vilomaxus Cruentu Quodpipax Neural-Chemistry-Altering Viral Strain Synthesis", or "neurachem" for short. Its deployment was successful, a mass production and distribution machine was built, and Neurachem stayed behind to oversee the new system, earning their new name and title in a complimentary Ritual of Acceptance.

Neurachem's body is outfitted with a Demonic Machine-class cybernetic augment, acquired during a personal test of the straggonificator. Additionally, due to damage from ingesting early neurachem prototypes and hitting radgoop's 10% chance of tumors, their vocal cords have been replaced with a digital voice box; they specifically requested a more masculine vocal synthesis set to affirm their identity.
