Kaya seems shallow on the surface, talking about flimsy topics or about herself, but on the inside she's surprisingly vulnerable. Really, she's afraid of being disliked, paranoid that over dragons might shun her.

She tends to be forgetful, unfortunately, losing things and mistaking the names of dragons uncomfortably often. Her catchphrase has become, "Hey! You!".

Background

Hatched in a small Water clan, Kaya was determined to fit in from a young age. She did exactly what the other hatchlings were doing at all times, wore what they wore, talked about what they liked. She was never quite sure why she wanted to fit in so badly; perhaps it was because her father left the clutch before they'd even hatched, and she didn't want a friend to leave her like he did.

When the other hatchlings left the clan, she followed suit, looking for a place to fit in. She found it quickly; the only annoyance there is the male dragon that seems to follow her around. She can never quite get rid of him.
