|Information:

To Rei, Goliath was her father figure, she depended on him for a lot of her own stability and looked to him for his input on almost everything. In her mind, she understands what Goliath stood for more than Ifrit does on the basis that when the guardian was alive Ifrit was too deeply invested in and blinded by his need for unbeatable strength to learn from him like Rei did.
On the unusual occasion they speak, Rei is blatantly aggressive towards Ifrit, her antagonistic responses thinly veiled by passiveness, like an angry child attempting not to let on how angry they are by acting coolly distant. She can't handle it when it's pointed out to her and full out bristles against anyone who criticizes her for anything.
She doesn't hate Ifrit, there is just a lot of frustration and bitterness between them. In truth, she still hasn't given up on trying to get him to understand her side, otherwise she wouldn't get as worked up about the topic of Goliath's ideals like she does. It annoys her to no end how Ifrit can casually dismiss her, and how above the topic he acts by pitying her and gifting her charity in response when she lashes out at him.
In part, her abrasive nature is caused by the immense stress she's taken on by establishing a clan instead of letting it build on it's own, but she's too proud to admit her mistake or to ask for help. Tacitus usually ends up stepping in when she backs herself into a corner with her lack of experience. This is the first endeavor she's taken on without the input of another respected figure to guide her.
She's somewhat conflicted about the title given to her by Veloden, At first it seems to be a respectable one, however when he first spoke it to her she could sense the frown in his voice, as if he knew she would cause some kind of issue in her future. He was correct, but she still feels like he was unfairly concerned about her true name.
To this day she is still convinced she knows what Goliath would have wanted for the clan he wished to form, and her only motivation is to see that desire realized, even if he isn't there to witness it. As passionately as she feels for this goal and as unwavering as she is going about it, she still mourns him. She confides in no one, not wanting to look weak in any way.
