The Storm Crows are the Wu Xing clan's best aerialists. They fly out to find wounded and sick patients who can't quite reach the lair, given the fierce storms and sheer sides of the Tempest Spire. Once a patient is located, if the Crows are unable to transport themselves, they will send for back-up to ensure that the patient is safely taken in. They will often fly for days on end, and their range covers almost all of the Shifting Expanse. Storm Crows are identified by their bright blue wings flashing against a dark body.

Tempest is the only Ridgeback in the entire Storm Crow unit; an unusually powerful, fast flier, she is invaluable in assisting her smaller compatriots in the transportation of larger species back to the lair. As mercurial and fierce as her name implies, Tempest is always more than happy to fend off any pursuing elements that may wish to harm the clan's patients.
