The Man of Many Voices
Nothing could have prepared him for the loss of his mate. Or his children. Not even knowing the future, nothing in his field of sight showed him any inkling that his home would catch fire during the one time he wasn’t home. The one fated evening that he lost everything. He’d grown to love his gift. After many years of seeing it as a curse.

As a child he’d know just when the bullies were coming, he could never prevent them from hurting him– but he knew when they were coming. He knew when his dad was going to yell at his mom. He knew when he’d get into trouble for sneaking food out of the pantry.

And lastly he knew when he’d meet his eventual mate. And he missed her. But something new stirred in him years after her passing, after the passing of his children.

The lonely man sought to find the oddity in the shadows that called his name, the only other person to bless his visions since before he met his prior mate.

Who was she? Why did she come to him?

Though the voices in his head urged him to leave this mysterious force to work of it’s own, he was perplexed and affixed on finding her. Maybe.. Just maybe, they could help each other.
