And yet, whenever she closed her eyes and spoke the sacred Words, only fog and mist swirled in her mind's eye, a sight that only enflamed her frustrations. No matter how hard she peered, how fiercely she spoke the Words, nothing changed except the ever twisting haze that clouded her mind. It could be that she was doing something wrong, but she knew better than that. It was impossible for her to See wrong. So it must be that something was missing. She could sense that, too, feel the need to connect to something, to fill a void that gaped within her. And whatever that thing was, it did not exist within the Plane in which she dwelled, so it was hardly a choice at all to pay the Material World a quick visit. And when she arrived, catapulted into the body of a newborn dragonet, the sudden tug on her mind already told her that she was in the right place. Whatever, whoever she might be searching for was here. Stretching out her new limbs one by one, opening startling pink eyes that caused her green-eyed parents to gasp and back away, Yin smiled. She stepped out of the nest and opened up her wings, letting her body's natural instincts take over. Even as the breeze that whipped around the Windswept Plateau lifted her up, her body grew and expanded to that of an adult. Soon, she would find what she needed, and then, finally, finally, she would be able to See again. "But oh. I musn't forget," she murmured, turning her head to gaze down at the two tiny dragons who mantled over their nest, teeth bared at the monstrosity their daughter had become. "I shouldn't leave around loose ends, now should I?" she laughed, swooping down towards the small family, mouth opening unnaturally wide. It wouldn't take this world long to begin to fear the White Demon. Not long at all.
