Biography

"What's that? Thali's aura? The darkness and weight you feel around her is only natural, she is the adopted sister of the Taken Queen after all. I think she was Awoken once, like myself, but I cannot be sure and it doesn't matter to me. How did I end up as the mate of the Taken Queen's sister? Well, allow me to enlighten you. During one of my many lonely wanderings, I became stranded in my Ceres Galliot ship, Galaxia, not far from the Dreadnaught. Unable to fly my damaged ship or operate any of its systems, I shut down everything except the emergency life support and waited. It didn't take Ninre very long to realize that there was another soul in her presence, one that wasn't Taken, and Thali was the one in charge of hauling my ship into the hanger of the Dreadnaught. I was taken prisoner and held in the great dungeons of the Dreadnaught, but I never was Taken as she and all the others under Oryx and Ninre were... perhaps she saw something in me that kept her from it? Much to my surprise, Thali came to visit me while I was held in chains. We talked casually at first, but eventually she spoke to me of something that had obviously been troubling her for a while; her unborn child, left without her father. I don't know what I was thinking when I promised her that I would protect her and the child, held as I was in the depths of the Dreadnaught's prison, but when the time came, I escaped and protected her from a traitor, one I had suspected since my arrival on the ship. At Thali's request, I was allowed by Ninre to walk free from the prison, and eventually I was accepted among the ranks of her Taken officers. I found myself loving Thali and her daughter, and to my everlasting relief and delight, she wanted me to stay as well. I became her new mate, and she became the new love of my life, along with our daughter, Galaxia. Thali is one with a troubled past, but it seems she has found a new life with her sister Ninre and with me."
