Lionne is a kind and generous dragon... but there's something off about him. Every now and then in conversation he'll make a comment that sounds completely out of place, or use the name for a dragon no one else has ever met. In private, he holds conversation with no one. While not a danger to anyone else, he can occasionally be quite dangerous to himself, so Quetzalli frequently checks up on him.

He's haunted by a single mistake in his past. As a young dragon, he took his sister, a young oracle, along with him to explore some ruins. It was supposed to be a brief escapade, but Lionne was excited by what he was finding. He took his sister further into the ruins with him, where the ceiling collapsed on top of them. Lionne survived, but his pearl--the manifestation of his very soul--was crushed. Much more horrifying was the body besides him. His sister, frail due to her youth, had been crushed as well. Her pearl remained, held tightly against her stomach.

Lionne couldn't bear to leave this pearl there. It was the last piece of his beloved sister that remained. Lionne swears he can hear his sister's voice still.

Lionne's pearl also functions as a crystal ball. It almost seems alive, and occasionally dragons swear they've seen movement inside of it. Lionne also seems to talk to it sometimes.
