Lore Notes
  • Personality traits: patient, kind, shy
  • Inherited Heterochromia from his father: both eyes a smooth gradient between Plague and Nature
  • Researches as much as he can of his Naomi heritage, scribbling names and making connections on the family tree - feels as the first born son of Thorn, it is his duty to be the family scribe
  • Sends out letters to keep in touch with any relatives to inquire about what they know about Naomi
  • Keeps track of information, new and old, in ivory nacre tomes with gold edged pages - each one carefully organized in a locked a dark cherry wood cabinet
  • Feels disconnected with the rest of his family - wants to have a loving, warm brood and makes sure none of his offspring ever have that feeling
  • Met his mate Lynika as he was sitting in a field of warm windflowers, seeing her curled up taking a nap among a pillow of buttercups
  • Prepares for nests to hatch on days that celebrate family and the home so each hatchling knows they are cared for and have their parents full attention and support
  • Lynika keeps the list of their potential nesting dates - it all depends on if the time feels right for them to expand their family once again
  • Keeps a dedicated drawer in the wood cabinet that contain letters from his offspring - often times Lynika and Tir spend an evening reading through them all and reminiscing about their little hatchlings

Thorn | Father's Lore

Far from the safe walls of the Eilerten, the nest that contained Thorn sat on the border of Plague and Arcane for a long, dangerous month. The reason for such a long wait is quite apparent.

Hatched on the dawn when his mother's magic was strongest: the waning of the Arcane Festival and the imminent rise of his father's magic during the Plague month. Thorn inherited the strengths not only of both parents but on the newly sacrificed siblings that weren't lucky enough to have what Thorn managed to inherit: Heterochromia, a Plague left eye and an Arcane right eye.

13 is the strongest number, after all. And this one is free from the Shade's grasp.

Naomi | Origin

In 2016 Flight Rising Courier dragons accidentally got assigned an ID so instead of showing up as "Flight Rising" sending you an expired Auction House message, it would say it was from Naomi. Naturally, many people were very confused and created a thread 'Who is Naomi' to try to figure out what was going on.

Even stranger than that, once people found the Lair containing the mentioned Naomi from the messages, the account had thousands upon thousands of dragons. All of them were Exalted, which were showing up in the Lair because the mistake was causing the website to glitch out and store them in said Lair.

It was quickly fixed and unfortunately the original account had to get wiped - thankfully the owner had not been active for years and it didn't seem to have much value.
This event created many theories about Naomi. The consensus was to officially name her 'Glitch Queen Naomi' or 'Gatekeeper Naomi', the latter with Naomi being the gatekeeper between life and death and therefore being the guardian and ruler of all Exalted dragons. The Shadow flight in particular is fond of Naomi and claims this lore as part of their domain.

To fix the error Naomi was given her own account after the wipe to preserve lineage.
