Revontulia is only a sometimes-resident of Valkama. A nomadic poet, he travels Sornieth seeking inspiration for his art. Valkama is the only place he has returned to more than once or twice since he left his childhood home; he has fallen in love with Chantilly and even though he is a free spirit he finds he can never stay away from her for too long.
Revontulia gets his best poetic inspiration while traveling alone and thus spends most of his time on the road, but he also understands that a dragon needs somewhere to come home to; and besides, the thought of his love Chantilly constantly draws him back to Valkama.
Revontulia sees the poetry and romance in every moment, but especially in solitude, in the fleeting encounters with strangers, the ever-changing nature of the Road, and the feeling of returning home.
