BreezyDayBlessin
On one particularily breezy day, a tiny fae tumbled out of her nest and was snatched away by the cold November gust and carried very far south from her wind tribe all the way to the land of ice and snow. She was encrusted with icicles from her travels and was shivering fiercely. Poor darling was only a few hours old! Cold and shivering she lay there half-dead in the snowbanks two whole days waiting for a miracle..
At that time a small dragonhold had just been established nearby to where she laid, and when Juniper went out to gather foodstuffs she took note of the tiny drop of color half-buried in the snow.. she was shocked to discover that it was a baby!!! She snatched up the child and nestling it snugly into her mane, she quickly hurried it home. She showed the baby to Jamboree and though he was surprised that anyone had found her, they immediately adopted the tiny babe as their own. Their nesting grounds were empty (they were still scratching out their den to be large enough to someday hold many dragons) so though they weren't yet ready for the caretaking of infants, they could hardly refuse her a comfortable place to stay! Juniper was her clanmother at this time and the tiny fae often was seen nestled in the grand fluffy mane of the loving tundra, so much so that from a distance she almost looked like she was wearing a corsage.. just a bright tiny splash of color in Juniper's heavy blue coat.
The days wore on, and other dragons joined the clan, two of which decided to lay a nest, thus it became apparent they'd need to name the tiny fae baby soon, before the new hatchlings arrived. So at 4 days old it was decided to have a small ceremony to celebrate and bless her. Many suggestions were considered one of which that was particularily favored was Blustery Day's Blessing however it just seemed too long and the consensus was nobody wanted her future nickname to be "Blustered" xD Therefore after much deliberation, it was agreed that she would be named BreezyDayBlessin to which all the clan thought to be perfect for the sweet little lady, and when she was asked if she liked it, her eyes grew sparkly and she nodded quickly and smiled a quiet happy smile, then jumped back up into the ruff of fur near Juniper's neck and settled down to sleep again. For ever after Juniper will tell you BreezyDayBlessin was her first child, and one she cherished with all her heart.
