______ Feuillu grew up in a brood made up of two, her and her sister, Toxina. As her parents were rarely ever present, she was forced to evolve her personality by herself, without anyone else's help. The same went for Toxina, though Feuillu (being the older sibling) helped her along. She was dealt a tough hand, but she played it to the best of her ability; through observing. She would go to clan meetings, club meetings, any type of event to let her see into the world of the dragons, as she had no parents to teach her anything of the world; she had to learn herself. You would be surprised the amount of things one could learn simply from being silent and observing; it gave Feuillu answers to much needed questions, also giving her a detailed understanding of the characteristics and psyche of dragons as well. However, it also gave her a quiet, almost timid personality that contrasted so starkly to her beautiful gold crackle and bright jade wings. Though she could at first glance be taken for a pushover, when it comes down to it, Feuillu will not hesitate to do what must be done for the good of others.

______ Her childhood continued in this silent observatory fashion, until one day her small sister practically erupted in anger, declaring herself to be leaving. Shocked, Feuillu could say nothing as her sister glared at her angrily. With another furious huff, Toxina packed a satchel and left, mumbling something incoherent as she floated out the door. "As usual, you never say anything. Not to me, not to anyone. Enjoy your life of silence." Still without words and now saddened, Feuillu crumpled to the floor and, quite uncharacteristically, started crying. Loud, long wails that echoed throughout their rather large den (courtesy of their high-ranking mother and father), crying for all things left unsaid, and all things that never could be said. When her mother came to discover one daughter to be gone and the other a sniffling mess on the floor, she curled her lip in anger and disgust. "Useless, the lot of you. We were going to keep you both here, but she's gone and you're a disgrace. I will not have you blemishing my name any longer, you will be put up for sale to the first exalt lair that we find. Or regular lair, I couldn't care less. Just get out." So out she went, crying even harder and wishing so hard that if she had just done something different everything would have been better. But what happened?! She was so stuck in observing everyone else's life that she never once thought to look at hers, and by then it was too late. She was going to be sold to a cheap lair, she just knew it. Then again, what ties did she have to this clan? None, as her sister was gone and her mother basically disowned her. Her father was always gone breeding; he had many desirable traits and they were almost always passed down to his offspring, her included. Maybe a new clan would be good, a new start. Yes, she decided. That was a very good idea. She would still stay silent and observe, but perhaps be a little more aware of her life as well. Make friends? Why not. So with this mindset, Feuillu went to challenge her fate, her mother and the rest of the clan. head on.
