“Have you seen this? It's incredible! Let me give you a quick overview...” Vyorin took after his father early on, diving into libraries and archives in search of knowledge as soon as he was able. Not that he had much patience for reading - he much preferred finding someone knowledgeable he could ask questions of, approaching every topic from dozens of angles. Suffice it to say he is an exhausting study partner. While he inherited a fair talent for raw Light magic, his interests quickly turned towards a sturdier, more primal magic - runes. Properly crafted they could endure for centuries, powering vast magical collaborations or simple but powerful spells. His search for a practical example of Second Age runes - said to be the closest one could come to ancient, primal magics without tampering with the immense power of pillar shards - led him to Shi'Kahr. He now studies the runes that are set into the very foundations of the city, lending sanctuary and protection... among other things. He'll figure it all out one of these days, just you watch. ♡ SAKKHET (the clan's archivist) She helps him do research, which he's extremely grateful for - he doesn't have the patience or passion she does for combing through the dusty old tomes, much preferring talking it out with her over a cup of tea. ★ SHINAT (the spirit of the oasis he (accidentally) awakened) Vyorin was only attempting to invoke the sanctuary spells that ring Shi'Kahr when he summoned Shinat instead. The spirit is fond of his unwitting summoner, and insists that he teach him all he needs to know about the corporeal world he now occupies. ♡ WHITEROCK (his research partner) Whiterock is a bit exasperated by Vyorin's tendency to experiment, but that hardly dampens Vyorin's excitement at having someone to bounce his ideas off of. ♥ QIBIIK (his little demon) Vyorin thought for sure that he'd conjured up yet another spirit when Qibiik popped up in front of him - finding out he was a demon was almost a relief. And he's just so cute!
