Biography
|
[ B A R A C H O I S ] 🍖 🍗 • Lunch Lady • Chef • Warrior • Father
I prefer not to be called a butcher. Such a nasty word. I am simply a chef that specializes in meat!
Eyes first laid on this dragon can leave one feeling underwhelmed. He is just under the average measure of normal Guardian dragons, majority of his length lies in the stretch of his tail. Barachois rarely goes to battle with his clan, but when he does, he unfolds his wings to reveal that they are massive and twice his size, a sight to behold. He looks rather unsettling swimming underwater, red blotches of color across his reflective blue scales look like blood traveling across the waves. Upon his fingertips lie meticulously trimmed claws, clean and perfect and often sheathed with clay. Personality wise, Barachois is definitely a dad-figure. He is strict and teaches young how to hunt and how to cook, finding pride in them and taking joy in when they take time to contact him on their travels. This trait leaks into his communication with more adult dragons, especially when it comes to cooking. He often takes over a job he knows he can do more easily or bickers over how they do it, something most take great offense to. Generally, however, Barachois is a dragon easily befriended, meaning the best even if it can gain him a lashing. Barachois has been cooking for as long as he could remember. He could never hunt, but can carve and cook meat like he was born to do it. With years of experience and even training under various chefs, the young Guardian found his way to an advertisement by a clan desperate for a chef specializing in meat. Off he went to Steel Crest, ready for the hustle and bustle of a gradually growing clan. As a poisonous dragon, Barachois has only one, major rule to follow even if you can't follow any: never poison food. Anyone who dares spoil such a precious resource will earn a lashing by him, without a doubt. Work has turned into a leisure for him at Steel Crest, heavily enjoying his job serving the clan. The most he talks to dragons is when he works, which makes things much more engaging. Hatchlings tease him and deem him the "Lunch Lady" with sarcastic tones, to which he responds with laughter and quips right back. Another rule he goes by and teaches to adults is that young dragons are growing and learning, it is much preferable to be one of the positive interactions they have when they meet someone new. |
