A medical and biological mystery, Novacaine resides within the Starfall Isles territory of the Clan of Stars and Signs. Novacaine claims she was born from a dying super nova and the fluids that secretes from her body are the liquefied remains of that star and have the ability to fully numb a dragon. Whether or not her claims regarding her birth are true, it's no lie that the fluids do contain medical use. A hearty dose will render even the largest of dragons completely numb and unconscious. In exchange for a safe home, the supposed Bogsneak offered her services to the Clan of Stars and Signs. She will venture the short 50 mile journey to the Scarred Wasteland if requested for medical emergencies, however her fluid is only potent at night. Novacaine prefers to be alone when not participating in surgeries, though she allows biologists and doctors to poke and prod at her body to sate their curiosity about her physiology. To this day, none have discovered what makes her fluids so potent, and Novacaine remains adamant about her story.
