Family:

Mate/how they met:
White Walker~ The large and frigid male caught her eye when the clan first discovered her. For the most part he kept to himself, refusing treatment when injured and would not take part in clan activities. She soon discovered the male was half blind, his sense of smell lost and old injuries made quick movements difficult. In time and with gentle coaxing she was slowly able to slip past his tough exterior, learning of his insecurities and began to sooth his worries.

History: (by Dew)
Young and fruitful, Lichen was born to heal and to see. She had the ability to see things others couldn't, she could feel things that usually could not be felt. From birth she was being raised to be a shaman and to use her powers to heal. her ability to use herbs and other various items since youth have allowed her to progress, but things quickly turned sour. There were disputes in her former clan, arguments that caused a lot of stress to travel. This harmed her, not in a physical sense, but emotionally. She was a gentle Imperial, wanting to assist and help those that needed it. The fighting grew worse and her emotional state began to sink into the depths of depression. Then the injures started. Her work was too difficult at that point. Too much fighting had occurred and she could not heal everyone. Then she left to gather more herbs, to clear her head with quiet meditation and let the bountiful land of Icewarden still her angered heart. Herbs were hard to come by in the frozen tundras, but she managed to get the best of them and made do with what she had.

That day was when she was discovered, and a quite and aloof Imperial had caught her eye. She readily agreed to join the other clan without looking back to her former one. This clan needed her, too. Her past home had other healers, and Lichen was ready for a change of pace. She worked hard to do her job under watch for the first few weeks, and during that time she got closer and closer to White Walker. She had found her heart had wrenched itself after she had discovered this quiet and thick-skinned Imperial was nearly blind, with his nose failing him, and with his body moving slowly from past fights and injuries. Carefully, soothingly, Lichen began to work past his outer shell and towards his heart. During her care, she slowly worked out what his fears were, his insecurities, and eased them. She soothed him as best she could and cared for him physically and emotionally. As time passed, she found herself falling in love, and soon spent most of her days away from work with her mate.

During her job, and her time with her new clan, Lichen gained the nickname Chen and held onto it. She worked quickly and diligently with Necrosis and never hesitated when a dragon needed help. She had proven to the clan that she had a large heart and was more than ready to help where she was needed. That was when she became the shaman. With her abilities to see and feel things beyond normal senses, Lichen soon built a strong foothold for herself within her new home and held onto it with all of her claws. Her powers and abilities were respected, and still are. To this day, she remains a respected member of the clan and a loving mate to White Walker. She was able to keep her Ice Sprite familiar that had been with her since she hatched, something else that had made her feel even more at home with her new clan.
