Chef | Proud | Melodious

We'll put out to sea and we'll perfect our chemistry
And by and by we'll defy a little bit of gravity
Afternoon delight, cocktails and moonlit nights
That dreamy look in your eye, give me a tropical contact high
Way down in Kokomo

A dragon born in a beautiful grove, now living on the sunny shores of Steel Crest Cove as a chef for vegetarian and omnivorous dragons. Kokomo was hired at first as an amateur chef to help divvy out and make food for the clan, living just within territory boundaries before he moved into the cove's lair with mate and nest in tow. He happily lives as a socialite and highly appreciates how much Nature still surrounds him in lands of Water Flight.

Kokomo livens the beach with music to accompany religious choirs and shanties, whether playing one of the many instruments under his knowledge or tapping his claws across his large pearl. His pearl has stayed with him through his lifetime with only few warps and gouges, and any cracks he prefers to fill with precious minerals and a little magic depending on what resources he might have at the time. His fondest memories he prefers to keep secret between him and his mate, Rio, shown by large turquoise filled gouges across his pearl.

Meeting Rio was nothing short of a dream come true for Kokomo. As a growing young dragon, he began to worry about his chances of finding love in a cruel world of struggles for domination and land, between conflicts of dragons and beasts. He left his clan at first, hired to play music and serve at a paradise location between Light and Nature's mainlands making just enough treasure to keep him afloat. He thought nothing of the beauties that came and went, spending their time with family or seeking love themselves, until he found a lovely Pearlcatcher by the name of Rio. She was traveling at the time, sent there as a vacation from her family, and he was all ears for her every need.

Everything about Rio, aesthetically, was so... green. Her pearl had a lustrous green sheen, her mane looked like thick spring grass after a heavy rain, and even her whiskers were a delightful bright green. The best way to describe her, was that she felt like home, making Kokomo's heart soften for her. He'll admit sheepishly that he may had made his boss displeased a few times for finding so much time in inconvenient places to see her, but he worked hard knowing that at the end of the day, he could invite her for a stroll in the afternoon.

A traveling scout from Steel Crest Cove happened to be stopping in to rest in the little tucked away dragon paradise, and fate lead him to Kokomo. He asked if he would work as a chef for the clan, promising a place to live nearby, safety, and a good share in what the clan made as a whole for treasure. The one thing that leashed Kokomo here was Rio, so the scout gave him a day to give him an answer, and a night to spend with Rio that left his heart fluttering in anticipation. That night, Kokomo took Rio to a private spot out by the sea and told her about the offer, in which she delightedly accepted. Without further word to their families and home, the pair trekked across the land with the scout, not quite knowing where life would lead them now.

Through thick and thin, Rio and Kokomo landed at their home in Steel Crest's borders finally, and stayed at a small cave in the marsh. Kokomo worked hard and earned the respect of the elders of the clan, and with eggs on the way, he decided that it would be best to move in with such a welcoming clan. He surprised Rio with a very high upper lair that the dragons decorated excitedly with gifts, and for the first time, created a lovely nest to share with his love. Life has felt complete ever since, and there is no place Kokomo would rather be.
